It could have been worse

On Saturday-Valentine's Day, no less. I was in a car accident. 2 blocks from home. I was coming back from the grocery store and a guy ran a stop sign. I could see that he wasn't going to stop-I blew my horn. I swerved and he still hit me. On the passenger side of the van. The kids were at home with my brother. The van is still drivable and the sliding door works. The other driver had insurance. No one was hurt. Now the "hassle" of getting the van repaired.

But, it could have been worse. Thank God it wasn't.

Tagged: 6th picture in the 6th album/folder

Brandi thought of me for this fun blog game. The rules of the game find the sixth picture in the sixth album on my computer.

I cheated a little bit and did the 6th folder from the bottom because the one at the top didn't have good pictures in it. This is from Vacation Bible school in 2006. I can never get good pictures in a church but that's Bailey and Kendall saying their lines in the closing program.

The "Kodak moment" that got away

After church on Sunday, I was in the kitchen reading the paper. The girls were playing a game and I wasn't paying much attention to the fact that my niece kept walking back and forth from the basement to the bathroom. Then, I heard my daughter calling for her and then me. I still didn't pay any attention. Until... I heard this, "MOOOOOOOOOOOM! Help me! I'm stuck!!!" I couldn't imagine where she was so I rushed into the bathroom and there was Bailey-stuck in the laundry chute!!!! I didn't know whether to laugh or scream, but she looked pretty terrified. My next thought was to go get my camera but I decided to rescue her first.

Next time, as long as they are not in eminent danger-I'm grabbing the camera!

Friday Fill In

5. If my life had a pause button, I'd pause it so the Buckeyes could call the right defensive coverage against the Longhorns in the Fiesta Bowl and won the game .

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to making altered mailboxes with dd's Brownie troop, tomorrow my plans include dropping kids off at dance, religion and Brownies,and Sunday, I want to go to my Sorority meeting and the grocery store!
